Tomato jam of Bozcaada is almost as famous as its wine. Serving jam to guests before coffee is an old Greek tradition. One of the residents of the island, Greek-rooted Simyon Salto, started tomato jam manufacturing almost 30 years ago. Although had reactions at first, this jam earned addicts in time. The jam is made of tomato unique to the island, and no additives are used. Peeled nuts are placed into the tomatoes, of which cores are removed. Apart from tomato jam, Salto’s also produce fig, grape, strawberry and cherry jams. These jams are also produced via natural methods, without using additives. Grape jar is also one of the different tastes unique to the island cuisine..

You can also find Salto Jams in Istanbul. In Island center, you can purchase it from all stores and markets. In addition, delivery to other cities is done with cargo.
