Boruzans are an islander family for seven generations. They took their family names from their grandfather who served as a trumpeteer in the Bozcaada Castle. The owner Mehmet has been running the restaurant since the days when tourism started to develop on the island. The experience he has gained in years gave him a customer oriented attitude which attracts many regular customers.

Boruzan is one of the few restaurants at the harbor open every season. You may have dinner sitting at the seaside tables in the summer amid the magnificent island view. In the winter, it has a pleasant and warm indoor space where you may sit next to the stove and watch islanders sail and fish with their boats.

As a family business, they cultivate most fruits and vegetables that they use in their restaurants. Greek style stuffed calamary, coal grilled octopus, pilchard and octopus meatball are a few selections from the menu. As desserts, they serve home made baklava and tomato jam.

Boruzan Restoran has a branch in the Ayazma Beach. Right across the beach, the restaurant is a good choice to eat.
