Ataol family, one of the oldest families of the island have been working on wine manufacturing since 1927. In their family vineyard of approx. 600 acres, they grow local grapes of the island such as Çavuş, Vasilaki, Kuntra as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, which is a foreign breed. Annual capacity of the factory run by two brothers of the 3rd generation is 1 million bottles. Out of the island, they also distribute to near cities such as Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Tekirdağ.

In the island center of Ataol Vineyard, there is a wine store where you can purchase wine in every hour of the day. Moreover, you can buy Ataol wines in all the stores of the island.

At the same time, Ataols continue their father’s profession; cheese-making. Famous Ezine cheese is also sold in this store.
